Veta Arteaga dropped a close split decision to Kaytlin Neil this past weekend at Showdown Fights in Orem, UT. Scores were 29-28 (Neil), 29-28 (Arteaga), and 30-27 (Neil). Arteaga was the aggressor when the fight was standing, landing numerous hard shots with her hands and feet. However, Neil was able to use her reach and size to keep Arteaga away and then clinch and pin her on the cage when Arteaga was able to close the distance.
